Feel the Motion (AKA: The Exodus Song)
by Ron Peacock

Storm clouds forming in the western sky
they won't catch up with me.
I am heading east out of Buffalo
straight down to the sea

Gonna hit route 20 to save some money
I can't afford the toll.
But I know my destination, gonna leave the frustration
pack up my bags and roll

Wanna feel the motion of that big blue ocean
hear the waves crashing to the shore
If I get back, I won't go away no more.

Spent a little time down in San Antone
got a friend or two down there
but that southern life didn't suit me right
it left me in despair

They can keep their cattle and their cactus too
and their starry southern nights
Seen it all and I wasn't impressed
but now I've seen the light

I wanna feel the motion of that big blue ocean
hear the waves crashing to the shore
If I get back, I won't go away no more.

Through a twist of fate I'm in New York State today.
Made a stop at the Lake, what a big mistake
I can't figure why I hang around
It's never too late and now I'm New England bound

Gonna feel the motion of that beautiful ocean
hear the waves crashing to the shore
when I get back I won't go away no more

Now I can feel the motion of that beautiful ocean
see the waves crashing to the shore
I'm finally home and I won't go away no more.

Yeah I'm finally home and I won't go away no more.
